Mir Collective creates architecture that values innovation and positive public impact in the shaping of spaces and cities. Mir’s design process embraces diverse collaboration, local knowledge, and rigorous research.

Our team brings a wealth of experience in diverse and complex project types. Mir’s principals, Kara Boyd and Jeana Ripple were project leaders and frequent collaborators at Studio Gang and led independent studios prior to joining forces to create MIR Collective. Mir’s work is recognized for its design quality and positive impact and has received awards from the AIA, SEED network, the National Endowment for the Arts, and Bloomberg Philanthropies.

We advocate for adaptive reuse, healthy spaces, and energy reduction to help our clients build responsible projects. As members of Architecture 2030 we prioritize socially and environmentally sustainable spaces for all. We invite you to connect with us to learn more.
